Double-Sided Banner Printing: One Banner, Two Messages, Seen From Every Direction
A single-sided banner has a blind spot: everyone who sees it from behind gets a back-to front logo or a blank sheet of plastic. Hang it where people pass from both directions and you're wasting half your audience.
A double sided banner fixes that. Your artwork is printed on both faces, so it reads properly whichever way people approach, whether they're walking past a shop, crossing an event entrance or driving under a banner across the road.
We print double sided roller banners, pull up banners and hanging PVC banners in our own High Wycombe workshop. Send your size and artwork, we check your file for free, and we give you an honest ready-by time.
- Maximum Dual-Direction Impact
- In-House High Wycombe Workshop
- Versatile Hardware & Substrate Formats
- Free Alignment & Proofing Check
PDF is best. We also accept AI, EPS, JPG and PNG. Every file is checked, and we send you a proof to approve before anything prints.

Your double sided banner printing
What are Double-Sided Banners
A double-sided banner is a printed banner with artwork on both faces, so it can be read from both sides. Each face can carry the same message or a different one. The banner is hemmed and fitted with eyelets so it can be hung, tied, or strapped in place.
They're made from PVC (vinyl) or mesh, depending on where they'll hang. Solid PVC gives the richest colour and crispest detail. Mesh lets wind through, which suits exposed sites. Where the banner is solid, we use a blockout layer so one side doesn't show through the other. (CONFIRM: construction method and blockout layer)
Why Choose a Double-Sided Banner?
Twice the visibility: One banner shows your message to people coming from either direction. That matters on hanging banners, shop fronts, entrances, and event routes, where there's no "back" to hide.
Two messages, one banner: Show one offer on the front and another on the back, or a logo on one side and a call to action on the other. You can also mirror the same message so both sides read correctly.
Cleaner, more professional look: No reversed text and no blank back. A properly finished banner makes the whole display look considered, not improvised.
Better value than two banners: One double-sided banner often costs less and takes less fixing than hanging two single-sided ones back to back. (CONFIRM: pricing approach versus two single-sided banners)
Built for the outdoors: Waterproof, hard-wearing material with reinforced hems and eyelets handles rain, sun, and wind. We'll advise on the right material and fixing for your site. (CONFIRM: material weight, hem and eyelet spec, weather-resistance claims)
Where Double-Sided Banners Work Best
Across roads and between poles, where traffic and pedestrians pass from both directions
Hanging from ceilings and rails in shops, showrooms, atriums, and event halls
Event and festival entrances, boundary fences, and walkways
Shop fronts and forecourts, especially where people approach from either side
Exhibitions and trade shows, where visitors circle the stand
Building sites and car parks, where one banner needs to face two ways
Schools, churches, and community venues, for open days and campaigns
Please Note: Banners over a public road or on a public highway may need permission from your local council. We can't arrange this for you, but it's worth checking early.
Double-Sided Roller & Pull-Up Banners
A double-sided roller banner (also called a double-sided pull-up banner) is a portable display stand with a printed graphic on both faces. The graphic rolls into the base for carrying and pulls up to a pole when you want to display it, so people see your message from either side. (CONFIRM: your double-sided roller banner stand type, e.g. twin-sided cassette, and how the two graphics are held)
Roller banners are the go-to for reception areas, exhibitions, shop floors, corridors, and entrances: anywhere people walk past from both directions and you want a professional display that packs away afterwards.
Why Choose Double-Sided Roller Banners:
Seen from both sides: One stand, two printed faces, so nobody gets a blank back.
Two messages, one stand: Run an offer on one face and your brand or contact details on the other.
Set up in seconds: Pull up the graphic, clip it to the pole, and you're done. No tools needed.
Portable and reusable: Packs down for transport and storage. (CONFIRM: carry bag included)
Graphics you can swap: Change the message without buying a new stand. (CONFIRM: graphic-only replacements offered)
Sizes & Design Tips: Standard roller banners are usually around 850mm wide and 2m tall, with wider and taller options available. Keep key text and your logo above waist height, and leave a clear margin at the bottom where the stand's base sits. Roller banners are best used indoors or in sheltered spots. For open, windy outdoor sites, choose a hanging double-sided PVC or mesh banner instead. (CONFIRM: your sizes and stand options)
Our Double-Sided Banner Options
1. Double-Sided PVC Banners
The classic. Rich colour, a smooth surface, and a strong, flexible build. Hemmed and fitted with eyelets, ready to hang. Best for sheltered or moderately windy spots, shop fronts, and events.
2. Double-Sided Mesh Banners
For exposed, windy, or very large sites. Mesh lets wind pass through, reducing strain on the banner and its fixings. Ideal for fences, scaffolding, and open-air events. (CONFIRM: double-sided mesh banners available, and how both sides are printed)
3. Heavy Duty Double-Sided Banners
For long-term outdoor use and busy sites. Heavier material and reinforced edges for banners that need to last. (CONFIRM: heavy-duty material and spec)
4. Large Format Double-Sided Banners
When you need a big banner seen from afar and from both sides. Great for events, car parks, building sites, and big launches. (CONFIRM: maximum size and how large banners are joined)
5. Hanging Banners for Shops and Venues
Suspend double-sided banners from ceilings, rails, or brackets so they're seen from every angle. Perfect for retail promotions, restaurants, showrooms, and exhibitions.
Double-Sided vs Single-Sided Banners
Feature | Double-Sided | Single-Sided |
Visible From | Both sides | Front only |
Messages | Two (or the same on both) | One |
Best For | Hanging, open sites, entrances, events | Walls, fences, fixed backgrounds |
Back of Banner | Printed and finished | Blank or reversed |
Cost | Higher than single-sided | Lower |
The Simple Rule: If the banner will be seen from both sides, go double-sided. If it's fixed flat to a wall or fence and only seen from the front, single-sided is simpler and cheaper. Not sure? Tell us where it's hanging and we'll point you to the right one. Our PVC banner printing and mesh banner printing pages cover single-sided options.
What Makes Us Stand Out
Honest timings, always: The cut-off and ready-by times we give you are the real ones. If we can't hit your date, we tell you before you order, not after.
Free artwork check on every order: Before anything prints, we check your file for size, bleed, resolution, and avoidable mistakes. For double-sided work, we also check that both sides line up and read the right way round. You see a proof and approve it before anything is made.
Made in our own High Wycombe workshop: We print, finish, and check in-house. No middlemen, no mystery about where your banner is.
Backed by Discount Sign & Print: Our parent company's workshop and team stand behind us. If your project grows into rigid boards, illuminated signs, or a full shop front, we can handle it all.
You talk to the people making your banner: Call, WhatsApp, or email and you reach the workshop. No call centres, no ticket numbers.
Honest advice, even when it's simpler: If a single-sided banner or mesh suits you better, we'll say so.
How to Order Your Double-Sided Banner
Tell us the size and quantity: A rough idea is fine. Tell us where it will hang and we'll confirm what works.
Send your artwork for both sides: Upload two print-ready files (one per side), or send one design and we'll mirror it. We accept PDF, AI, EPS, JPG, and PNG. (CONFIRM: design service and cost)
Approve your proof: We check both sides for free and send a proof. Nothing prints until you say so.
We print and finish: Printed, joined if needed, hemmed, and fitted with eyelets.
Collect or receive it: Ready from our High Wycombe workshop at the time we promised. (CONFIRM: delivery options and areas)
Tips for a Double-Sided Banner That Works
Send separate files for each side: Name them clearly, such as "front" and "back".
Check the reading direction: Text on the reverse should read correctly from the back, not mirrored.
Keep each side simple: One headline and one call to action per side.
Think about the hanging point: The top of the banner is the same on both sides, so check that logos and text sit the right way up on each face.
Use high contrast: Dark on light or light on dark reads best from a distance.
Plan for wind: Use enough eyelets and the right fixings, and consider mesh for exposed sites.

Double Sided Banners FAQs
Can't see your question? Call the workshop or send us a WhatsApp.
Can the two sides have different designs?
Yes. Each side can carry its own artwork, such as a promotion on the front and your contact details on the back. Send us one file per side and we'll check that they match the banner size and read correctly.
Will the print show through from one side to the other?
Our double sided banners are built to avoid show-through, so each side stays clear and vibrant.
What sizes can you print?
From small hanging banners up to large format sizes. Tell us your dimensions and we'll confirm what's possible and the price.
What file format should I send?
PDF is best, and vector files give the sharpest results at large sizes. We also accept AI, EPS, JPG and PNG. We check every file for free and tell you straight away if anything needs fixing.
