Rigid Sheet Printing

Rigid Sheet Printing: Foamex, Dibond, Correx & Acrylic Signs

Built to Last. Printed to Stand Out.

Some signs can't wait. A site opens on Monday, an estate agent board is needed today, a shop window needs updating before the weekend rush. When the deadline is tight, you need a printer who gives you a straight answer and then hits it.

We print on rigid sheet materials in our own High Wycombe workshop: Foamex, Dibond, Correx and acrylic.

Why Businesses Choose Urgent Sign

Honest cut-off times

The time on our site is the real one. Approve your artwork before the urgent cut-off and we tell you exactly when it will be ready. If we can't make your date, you hear it from us before you order, not after.

Free artwork check on every order

Before anything prints, we check your file for size, bleed, resolution and avoidable mistakes. You see a proof and approve it. What you collect is what you expected, and your urgent slot isn't wasted on a fixable error.

Made in our own High Wycombe workshop

We print, trim and finish in-house, so there's no waiting on a third party and no guessing about where your order is.

Collect it, no courier needed

Urgent jobs are ready to collect from our workshop, so you can be on your way the moment your sign is done.

Backed by Discount Sign & Print

Our parent company's workshop and team stand behind us, so if your project grows into illuminated signs, 3D lettering or a full shop front, we can take care of that too.

You talk to the people making your sign

Call, WhatsApp or email and you reach the workshop. No ticket numbers, no call centres, just a clear answer.

What Is Rigid Sheet Printing?

Rigid sheet printing is the process of printing your artwork directly onto flat, stiff boards instead of flexible vinyl or fabric. The board holds its shape, stands up to handling, and can be screwed, mounted, hung, or fixed to a frame or wall.

That makes it the go-to choice for shop signs, building site boards, property signs, directional signs, window displays, event signage, menu boards, and notices. Which material you choose depends on three things: where the sign will live, how long it needs to last, and the finish you want.

Our Rigid Sheet Signs

Foamex Signs

Foamex is a lightweight, smooth-faced PVC foam board. It takes print beautifully, so colours look sharp and photos look crisp. It's easy to cut to size and easy to fit, which is why it's one of the most popular sign materials in the UK.

  • Best for: Shop and office signs, indoor displays, point-of-sale boards, directional and information signs, and short- to medium-term outdoor use.

  • Why people choose it: A clean, professional finish at a sensible price, with a quick turnaround.

Dibond Signs

Dibond is a solid aluminium composite board—a core sandwiched between two aluminium skins. It's tough, flat, and weather-resistant, holding up outdoors where lighter boards might not.

  • Best for: Long-term outdoor signs, shop fronts, business name plates, boundary and entrance signs, and anywhere you want a premium, durable finish.

  • Why people choose it: It looks smart, stays rigid, and is built to last.

Correx Signs

Correx is a lightweight, fluted plastic board that's waterproof and highly cost-effective. It's the practical choice when you need a lot of signs quickly or a sign that only has to do its job for a short while.

  • Best for: Estate agent and "to let" boards, building site and safety signs, election and campaign boards, event and parking signs, and temporary promotions.

  • Why people choose it: It's the quickest, lowest-cost way to get a clear message outdoors.

Acrylic Signs

Acrylic gives you a glossy, high-end look that makes a business feel established. It's a favourite for reception areas, offices, salons, clinics, and shop interiors, where the sign is seen up close and needs to look sharp.

  • Best for: Reception and office signs, door and wall signs, name plates, menu and price displays, and premium shop interiors.

  • Why people choose it: A polished finish that says "we pay attention to detail." (Note: Confirm acrylic availability as an urgent product, available thicknesses, and whether standoff fixings are offered).
