Will Magnetic Signs Fit My Van?

Most likely, yes. Here's the quick check:

1.      It must be steel. Magnets only stick to steel. Try a fridge magnet on the panel. If it holds, you're good.

2.      It must be flat. Avoid ribs, deep curves, swage lines, door handles and fuel caps. The sign needs full contact to stay put.

3.      Measure the flat area. Measure the largest smooth part of the panel, and we'll size your sign to fit inside it.

Looking After Your Magnetic Signs

A little care keeps your signs looking good and your paintwork safe.

•       Remove and clean weekly: Take the signs off, wipe the van and the back of the magnet, and let both dry before refitting.

•       Fit on a clean, dry panel: Dirt or water underneath can mark the paint and weaken the grip.

•       Smooth from the centre out: Press from the middle to the edges so there are no air pockets.

•       Take them off for the car wash: Brushes and pressure washers can lift the edges.

•       Store them flat: Keep them flat or on a steel surface, never folded, and out of direct heat.

•       Avoid new paint: Wait until a fresh respray has fully cured before fitting a magnet.
